rockford question

i just wired up 2 mtx 6000 series 15s to a power 1100a2 and have the gains on 3/4 and it seems like its hardley pushing it, its wired 4 ohms mono, i dont have the remote bass control could this be the problem

I had the same issue with my 1100a2.. So, I maxed the gain and forgot about it.. Worked fine.. I never got around to checking it with a DMM, so I would be interested to see what you find if you do get a chance to set your gains properly.. Anyways, I ran mine maxed for the entire 3 months or so that I owned it and it sounded great and never had a problem..

i dont like it at all. subs arnt that loud, not much louder then my fusion powerplant 12 in a abc boc getting 300 rms.

Ensure that all of your voicecoils are hooked up in phase. Any time that I had used that amp, the results were enough that I would refuse to sit in the vehicle (I value my hearing). To me this sounds more like a phase or box issure than it does a amp issue. That amp is a powerhouse. Make darn sure that you have a super good ground on it or expect the amp to crispy critter on you.
