Rotozip

Anyone have any experience/thoughts on the Rotozip tool? http://www.rotozip.com/tooldetails.aspx?p_intToolID=4 
Canadian Tire has it on sale, with the circle cutting guide for $79.99 right now. I would mainly be using it to cut out circles in MDF, I figure if I am cutting 3/4" I will have to go pretty slow. I know most people will say to pick up a router, but I don't have much of a shop to work with. If I can cut out the occasional hole, make speaker spacer rings, and maybe use a grinding attachment to grind off some paint for a ground, then this will fit the bill for me. Thanks for any advice given......

imo its a waste of money IF you are just going to use it for cutting out circles.there are not made strong enough and will not last very long.
i would rather spend the money on a plunge router they can be bought for cheap at canadian tire and another $10 get you a bit .and will probly last a lot longer than a roto zip.

^ I have to agree.
CTire has had their entry plunge routers on for $69 and $79 lately. A circle guide can be made for free from some 1/4" scrap (plus the Rotojoke's guide is sad) and an upcut spiral router bit will last infinitely longer than the thin Roto bits that are prone to snapping.
I have yet to see any plus from the Rotorooter.
