so i was randomly googling alternator sizes, and came across this.

16x 400 amp alternators = 6400 amps

has anyone else read or seen anything about it? video's? i'm thinking it would put steve meads to shame.

 

Hmm wonder where the drive comes from,this guy dousent like his lights to dimm

 

i know the main power/drive comes from the 3 large belts on the left of the picture, which likely is powered by the tranny, a custom one i would think.

Just figured out how he got all that under the hood. LOL He didn't it is underneath. LOL

 

my guess 420 is that the alt's are under the actuall van. not under the hood. and lol... clicking on the link at the very top, the astro pix are with the alt pic. lol

 

You can clearly see the drive shaft down the middle. Crazy design though.
