The 170+db that Aaron did with the Rump Shaker was back in the early 2000's and it was a very high score at that time.

Equipment and enclosure design has progressed a LOT since then so it's not as impressive now but back in the day it was kind of a big deal ;)

Wasn't it team Pioneer that did 183.3db with 9 15's and about 100,000W?

Reading that someone hit 175.x with a 9910Z and Stetsom 7kd in a Volvo, now that's impressive.

Alan Dante broke 180 with a single DD18 and Stetsom power in his volvo

Alan was also working on Craig Butlers van though I dont know what he was running to get his 180+ but I am sure it was a combination of DD and Stetsom (Mr Butler got mid 170 on my meter 4 ish years ago, he has been at or over 180 for a year now)

The Pioneer truck (Scott Owens) was the first to break 180 (correct?) at SVR in 2006 prior to its catching on fire on the way back to AZ (I was at the show )

... at what frequencies? At 180dB 60hz would be like a swarm of gigantic wasps.
