SCP and installer challenge

Were doin it all over again. My bosses just told me that Im invited back to the 3rd future shop installer challenge the weekend of oct14. They say there goin all out this year! (I thought they treated like celebraties last year) This year there givin away the future shop mustang to our top sales and install leads. They give each guy a key, and the one that starts the car wins it.(installer challenge guys not included)
If any of you guys are within 5 hours of montreal, I would recomend going. The show brings in 60k attendance. the ladies there are "sick". And you get to see myself and 8 other of future shops top custom guys thrash for 40 hours of madness.
My bosses loved the response, and the installs from the last 2 years so mutch that there going to another level.
There flying there top guys from all over canada. They put us in a crazy hotel..They get us anything we need to buiild an "over the top" install. and were treated like kings.
Its a great time and it cool to work for a place that does that for installers

I've always said it's a good place to work. I have worked for much worse

Is that the Infinity Mustang that Rob built that they are giving away?

Yup. Robs work of art will belong to some future shop employee in a couple of weeks.
Its to bad the installer challenge boys cant win. It would be funny if rob won the stang. And then took it to another bay to get warrenty work done on it

Did Rob do that car all by himself?

Aside from actually spraying the paint and some minor help here and there, yes Rob pretty much did it all himself. Rob's a really humble guy - he's built a tonne of nice flashy rep cars and such that others take the credit for...

Pretty much. Don't make your input more than what it was.

Let me ask you this: Who do you think had more router time on that car?

all I'm trying to get across is that credit should be given where it's due. I don't have to tell you that.... least I thought I didn't. Rob is NOT a one-man custom install team, let's make no mistake about it. He's a nice guy and does have skills, but let's face it... if you asked him about a car he had worked on... I think his shortcoming would lie in the area of forgetting those that helped him get there. Not sour about anything at all.... I had alot of fun working on those cars with that guy.

Yeah that's right - Rob makes the pattern and then hands it to you to make a bunch of copies. That's just 'busy work'. Let's keep this all in reality ok? I had my share of input in some of the earlier cars as well. It was minor, I didn't get credit for it and I never expected it either. What are you after?

As for your negatives on Rob - I think you're confusing him with Tim. Rob never tried to advance himself based on the work of others. I have no problem with you dude - I used to enjoy working with you, but don't slag on Rob.
