I've always had my wire just running out of the port...

less holes = louder

So true [img]smile.gif[/img] Make shure the box is air tight.

Also less connections = less problems to go wrong.

Thats why alot of the real loud guys in street, glass over the speaker wire.

Eliminate as many variables as posible.

</font>[/QUOTE]well, if you run a ported box, it shouldnt matter if you had a couple of small holes drilled through the box for speaker wire, or should it?

does making it "air tight" referring to only sealed boxes?

well any box should be air tights whether it be sealed or ported.. if you do run holes for speaker wire.. best best is to seal the holes up with something (with the speaker wire in it).
