Sealing A Ported Enclosure
#1
On some music and not even at too high of volumes my port seems to vibrate or something. At first I thought the sub was pooched but upon closer inspection I realized that when I stuffed a cushion into the port hole this vibration/buzz disappeared and even at insane volumes it never came back.. My sub came in a ported enclosure yet i find that it actually sounds louder sealed than ported.. The musical notes also seem a lot tighter. anyone else seal their port's or have the same problem with the buzz?

well the sub was shipped from cadence in the box so if they can't tune their subs properly that sucks.. I'm sure there are many variables tho to this situation like where the port is.. where the box is in the car.. etc.. my main question tho was about the rattle from the port hole.. is there anyone out there that has experienced this?
