I have a similiar setup on mine, I tried running my deck crossover at 80hz Lp, to tighten up the sound a bit. What crossover points does your deck have?

I usually keep my LP filter at 50 Hz - that's for my trance and rap/reggae. For stuff like drum and bass I'll bring it to 80 or even 120 to get those nice sweeping basslines.

It doesn't need to be crossed over twice, and the crossover pieces in the amp could potentially rob some (but probably not much) power. Might as well just set the amp to all pass, and use the HU crossover, if it has the crossover point you want. this also has the advantage of being able to adjust it from the dash for different types of music, like Muckaluck mentioned. Personally, I cross my subs around 80, but depends on preference I guess, and strength of your midbass.

-troy.
