Is this setup good quality / price?

Hello all,

I am looking at getting a new setup for my 06 altima and was wondering what your thoughts on the following items were:

2 x 10" dual voice coil Kenwood excellon subs

Panasonic Strada 30 gb Navigation deck - CN-NVD905U

I have a 500 watt rms monoblock pinoeer premeir amp for the subs already, but wanted an opinoin on the head unit and the subs.

I am getting the subs brand new for $95 each (seemd like a good deal) and the head unit for $799

Is this a good deal and also is it a good setup???

Thanks in advance!

Yes you are getting a good deal especially on the gps deck, the msrp alone is 1800.

that gear fall off the back of a truck ?:P lol. I sell excelon subs at work, and that is below dealer cost, haha. And they are great subs. I'd do a Kenwood DNX8120 instead for the deck, but it wuddnt even be able to get close to that price tho

I picked up the deck and subs today. All will get installed in the next couple days!

My buddy gave me a sealed box for free so I will try that out for now. If i don't have enough of a boom ill take your advice Jordy and go ported.

Thanks again all. if threre are any other suggestions regarding making this set up better please do let me know!

THe next step will be speakers and 4 channel amp!

K, so the deck is installed and is very impressive. The screen is extremely crisp and detailed. The Sq is awesome and the eq works well for it. Navi is lightning fast and locks on to satlietes without any wait time.

Only downlfall is the unability to load music onto the hdd but otherwise its excellent.

Thanks for the help guys!

I get the subs installed next week!
