Can someone please tell me what a slik Dome tweeter is? i know about soft dome but silk dome?

a silk dome is a type of soft dome, but instead of just textile, it is made of silk, which has a higher strength to weight ratio. there's really no difference to be honest.

Thanks man. So a soft dome and a silk dome pretty much sound the same?

Listen to both, if you've got the opportunity. There are subtle differences, even between different manufacturer's silk domes.

Not only does the dome material make a difference, but the fs of the driver, thickness of the dome material, dome geometry and about a dozen other design related aspects will have considerable bearing on the sound of the tweeter.

Trust your own ears, they're the only ones you have to listen through.
