Simple solutions always work so well

So my wife wants to try my setup in her '83 Chevette for the Warkworth event coming up this weekend. I had to get the alternator on her car rebuilt, so I thought, why not upgrade the wires on her alternator as well. The biggest wire I had with me was 4awg, so I tossed it on and away I went.
Before I upgraded the wire, I was sitting at 12.9 volts at idle. After adding the wire I was doing 14.45 volts at idle. Close to 15 volts at 2000rpm. I was quite happy.
That's it. Just thought I would let everyone know how I spent my day off.
