In reference to why your set-up is mis-matched, I'll try to explain.

You have 3 subs, and four 4ohm voice coils.

When the amp sees the 4 voice coils it will give equal power to each 4 ohm coil, regardless if the subs are wired in series, parrallel, or series + parrallel.
So if you have an 800 Watt amp, each coil will receive 200watts.
Both SVCs will get 200 Watts and the DVC (since it has 2 coils) will see 200 + 200 = 400Watts.

So, even though the subs look similiar, they are not. If you have them all connected to the amp, the DVC will get twice the power of the SVCs. So it will be wierdly un-balanced. The DVC will be pounding and the SVCs will be quietly humming along.

As cool as it would be to have 3 subs, your system will be better/louder if you ran just the 2 svcs. If you really want 3 subs, buy a 3rd SVC with the money you get from selling your DVC

okay I see exactly what you are saying, makes sense now, like you stated I will dump the dvc and just run the 2 svc's, perfect thanks, oh and what I ment on my previous post was postive and negitive terminals I just explained it wrong, I figured it was very similer to running batteries in series, I was just thrown on the dvc with svc. thanks for the break down explained it all.
