Small box for Sunfire trunk

I've got two Eclipse SW8200's and got a Sunfire GT today. The box I had was about 2-2.5 cuft and I couldn't even fit it into the trunk, so, I was wondering how much SPL I'd lose from going from 2 SW 12's to 1 better 12". Someone is selling an 05 RE XXX 12 near me, and I want it. Sealed boxes, btw.

I'll bet you'll be just as loud or louder with the single XXX in a ported box of 2.5 cubes or however much you can muster... Those xxx's are beauties.

A 2.5gross enclosure will fit in a Sunfire trunk with plenty of room to spare.
Just build the proper sized box to fit into the opening. It ain't rocket science.

My wife's sunfire has 1 Kicker L5 12 inch, dual 4 olm in about 1.25 cubes, sealed on a saphire 1.0, pounds pretty damn good for that little power!
and it fits in the spare tire well. Lots of room for groceries!

I tried putting it in through the rear seat and it wouldn't fit. See, my dad wants space in the trunk for his , and doesn't want 2 cuft, going from a buick trunk, it's a lot smaller . So I want to use about 1.25 cuft for a sealed 12". I had two sealed pioneer 12's getting 275W each and it pounded, so, maybe my definition of loud bass isn't so much. But wtf do I power it with?
