But otherwise yeah who really cares, as long as the amp puts out nice clean power

So they do their rated power, most of the time.
I could go get a billion differnt amps that do there rated power.
I am more curious about their components and subs. Now thats something that should be reviewed more often.
It's just that alot of their products looks like crossfire stuff and their name happens to be interfire. I just keep thinking Rockwood or Soundstorm.

</font>
Power handling of woofers. THe fact they don't make anything that will take high power or even really produce it(1000 watt amps with 60 amp fusing) the guys at the shop told us that too. The stuff isn't really made for competition, which is what makes it different from Crossfire Thats what makes it entry level. LIKE COUSTIC

As for the subs, Interfire is one company that has choosen to NOT product these "super woofers". They choose to stick with an efficeint design so you could run multiple subs on a single large amp. In the correct box they take thier rated power.
Not to be an ***, but what is your personal experience with Interfire?

AND i wasn't badmouthing interfire
I've heard the subs and was actually pretty impressed for the price and the fact that they were in a sealed box

Sorry but I have to side with slow/n\low here.
If anything Crossfire is the startup company that manufactures exactly zero of their products and shops orient mass marketeers for ALL their stuff. They choose to buy and sell decent gear overall but that is it.
Coustic is a company with a lot of history that has made it's fair share of high profile product over the years. That Mitek currently limits the upper end of the line so it does not interfere with it's other lines means nothing. Coustic product has always been clean, reliable, and hearty. They still offer what is in my opinion one of the best car audio derived analogue crossovers you can get and I have only had very good experience with their amp and woofer lines as well.
lol - kinda went off but DON'T be dissin the Coustic

And slow/n\low, what makes an amp for competition, who uses a HL drag queen for daily use? thats kinda what i meant i guess. Maybe like driving around with a A6000gti on a sub, well maybe i would.
I see what you mean , and i think wording was a problem with what i said. Maybe what i was classifying as a competition amp was like something you would see people using at db drag or sumthen, which i haven't seen interfire at all, thats all i meant by that, just like i don't see a whole lotta coustic, got nuthin against them tho......whoa man am i ever confused I think i'm just gonna go now....
