So Interfire.....
#21
i did not see any interfire powered systems at either iasca, or db drag world finals. we did however get to see a boom room, and a few teardown displays. performance of the product was commonly under the rated output as was explained by a shop owner which sells alot of their product.the quality of their amps is decent for the money, but i personally wouldn't expect high numbers, just a nice ,well built entry level amplifier.
as for the subs, for warranty the dealer sends in the dustcap for a replacement sub.

Thats ok lots of people get confused..
I now get your point on the amp... ya 3000rms is not needed for general listening( The word competition threw me way off)
As far as Coustic being entry level, have you ever openned one up to see what is inside? I think you would be shocked at first to learn about who made! those amps.
I just find it funny when people make an opinion of certain products and have minimal if any experience with it.
I like Dukk have never had a bad experience with any Coustic product i have heard or used.

btw tim.. I have the upmost respect for your installs, they are very nice and you obviously take alot of pride in your work. But I just dont think its right for an installation manager to come on here with that attitude.. it makes the whole company look bad.

Further more my statement simply implied that I did not care where the name came from and I was pointing out that there are way to many no name products and brands that seem to be the hotest thing one moment on this message board and then the next moment it is crap and something else has become the next best thing. Having an unique brand name product is not a bad thing, it is just pathetic how something rises and falls so quick on here.

Well I was just trying to stick up for a company that is receiving some critiszm. I thought a futureshop employee of all people would respect such efforts. If someone were to buy one of those amps what would make them a putz anymore than someone walking into futureshop and buying pioneer equipment and bragging about it?? I guess it's a double standard.

Sometimes a person just gets tired of some of the mindless dribble on this site and wants to speak out about it.
As for your double standard I was not calling the person buying the amp the putz, rather the person that buys it for the sake of buying something unique and then trys to start this almost cult like following for the product regardless wether it is good or bad.
