For me most of my moves have been based on money or position......................after you get the money and the higher positions you find out whether its you or not....................I found that I was no longer happy, stressed to the max and having zero fun except for when we would get a demo car or something but that was always stressed too cause the stress of taking care of business is still there.............................now...........I wake up with a smile............I go home with a smile and I don't care..............I'm having fun............if I can still do this and have fun at 50........why the hell not.................look at those guys in their 70's and 80's on that one episode of Monster Garage where the chopped and channeled that old car................they were having fun at 80..............what could be better then that......

I haven't worked everywhere but I have worked at a few...................Ralphs.........AVU.......... .Illusions.....................Visions...........F S..........and now Boomers....................I haven't had this much fun since I built the Cop Car at illusions and worked at AVU............

Store never hit budget in June and I am an easy casualty. It was amusing that last Saturday, my last I guess, was PACKED all day and we handled a couple floaters too... Ed and I were flying!

It's too bad that the only people who seem to make it to management come out of IPG or HT and they have absolutely no clue how car operates..

Kinda bites *** as I wanted to at least work the summer. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

I had the speech today. "Dereck you have to be on the sales floor." So I say "I try to be but when there is installing to be done, that is my number one priority." Big "discussion" ensues. Anyways I find it funny that it seems all computer related people became the Operations Managers in almost all the stores. Enough shop talk MR2NR where are those dirty girl pics!

OMG! you should see what just sauntered by the front windows....they are everywhere. Both stores are hot chick magnets.... Courtenay has a sushi bar, Subway, Tanning Salon, Coffee Shop and Womens clothing store in the same complex. Guess it's just another perk of being indipendent.... gotta go .... <YELLS AT INSTALLER - PRICE CHECK> installer rips out the side door to see what saunters by....
