Just finished our 5th annual sound-off yesterday, and it was fun but the competitor turnout was our worst yet??? September we felt was a good month to do a sound-off becasue the weather is traditionally good (not alot of rain), and not alot of competition from other shops....So the question is "Why the poor turn-out????" and "What do we need to do differently for next year????" with all the positive feed-back from last year, I was surprised it was so small this year. Feed-back, I want feed back.

 

I can't comment because I'm in a different province, but the turnouts seem to get worse as the months go on, at least here in Ontario.
Our May and June shows were bigger than our September show.

Also, we have a night show which seems to be a big hit in terms of "show" or attendance ... SPL portion, same old same old.

 

It appears to me that there were alot more "break downs" this year...I have been talking to some guys who tell me that their systems are not up and running. This maybe another discussion, but, Are"The Big noise guys"breaking stuff more than in the past??? Which tells me that two 10" subwoofers in a ported box, with single run 0 guage, and a 600watt amp, is still the "funnest" because stuff doesn't break as much???
