Nice, I like those TSX's! Are you going to touch the audio in it? Bose factory, is it not?

The standard Acura Premium Sound System includes an AM/FM Stereo receiver and an integrated 6-disc in-dash CD changer. It draws on 360 watts of power from a separate amplifier unit to deliver high-fidelity full-range sound to each occupant through its eight speakers. An external antenna has been etched into the rear window on both models for better reception. Three switches on the left of the steering wheel allow the driver to change audio system mode, volume, and radio station or disc track, without taking either hand from the wheel.
EIGHT SPEAKERS

The eight individually powered speakers of the Acura Premium Sound System have been carefully selected, placed and electronically tuned to suit the interior's acoustics. There are two soft-dome tweeters mounted in the dash, a low-distortion Neodymium boron full-range driver in each of the four doors, and two 6" x 9" ferrite subwoofers built into the rear parcel shelf. Together they offer all occupants a full range of clear, high-fidelity sound and vivid stereo separation.

That doesn't sound very appealing. Although I'm sure that their is a $hit load of processing going on their to make it sound decent.

If I had the TSX, I would leave the head unit and changer and change the rest. Three-ways up front and decent sub setup and then we'll call it premium...

Currently sounds like poo. Not to keen on changing the head unit though. Not sure what I'll do yet.

Is that Alpine amp in your old ride an Alpine MRD-F752?
I own 2 of those, one that is brand new in the box still.
What did you think of that amp?

i cooked a t757. buddy gave me his subs to use for a road trip, 2 12w0's. they ran solid for about 3 weeks, then suddenly fried the amp.(cooked transistor) took em out gave em back, he hooked em up about a week later and his amp fried immediately. there was a short inside, which was odd cuz they ran fine for such a long time in my car.

that reminds me, its still sitting in a useless repair shop.

damn. i loved that amp.

Probably 2 4-ohm 12w0's running at 2-ohm mono on an amp that should be run at 4.
