Alright folks, it me again. I know how much everyone loves to hear from me.
As some of you may know, CCA has somewhat gone downhill in the last few months. This is no supprise as we decided to let the reigns go on the board to see what would happen. We took the feedback from our members that the board was run in to strict of fasion. Well, now we are seeing the effects of a poorly moderated board.
So, whats going to happen? Things are going to be getting scaled back to where they were. What does this mean? Well, a number of things. More threads will be closed/deleted at the mods discretion, unruley members will be given 1 and only 1 warning and then asked to leave. If the behavior continues, they will be banned. End of story. Considering in the history of CCA we have only actually banned like 2-3 people, I don't feel we will have to go that far.
We still feel that the members have alot of flexability with their accounts. They still have control over their user name, avatar image and so on. Everything in your profile is still going to pretty much remain. We will still have the right to delete anything we find derogetory. I would like to see the avatar images return back to a personal image and not one of their car, stereo, dog...etc.
Hopefully this will help clean up the board up and get things back to the way they were. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to pm or email any of the mods. My email is Fat_Whacker@canadiancaraudio.com

one thing - in the time when u guys 'let the board go' RoughDude still delete the post in which i was trying to gather some feedback in the Donut Section of the forum. If that post had been moved to the Mod section of the forum and it still exists can u please put it back into the off topic section. There was nothing wrong with the post, no one tried to cut anybody else or anytning yet it still got tooken down. I could really use some of the positive feedback that was in there when dealing with ppl over the internet.

Zach,
I honestly think that the size of the forum has alot more to do with it than the rules itself. There is really only so much you can do with off the shelf software, and some forum members who insist on acting the way they do. Ban them, they come back. Ban their IP, they change it. When I'm not busy, people who act up get banned, and then their posts get pruned. But I've been tied up as have some of the other guys who normally help out on the Admin side of things.
For the most part, I hang spend more time on CarSound.com forum than Sounddomain's forum.
