don't over power?jl's are amazing!!! i can power my sub with 5000rms and it wouldn't even begin to blow...they actually did a test...ran 24000 watts to it for a period of 24hrs and it never blew

oh man.. do i dare link him to that MTX video where they light up a w7 and a L7?

Yeah those JL subs are sure amazing sounding subs after 24 hours with 24000 watts on them. I think everyone should try this, no matter what gear you have, and let me know how it turns out...LOL Like you said "some people".
