some silly, sad, and serious questions.
I swapped my head unit again but forgot a cd that was in it. what do i use to power up the hu so i can eject the cd?
The remote turn on from HU to the amp (the light blue one) can i run that straight from my battery to a toggle switch then to the amp or is a fuse or something else required in there?
I have a 1990 eagle talon and the alt is only 90amp im pretty sure. Where can i get an alternator that will put out 150+ amps or would i be better off just trying to rig up 2 alternators.

for the cd player, grab yellow and red (constant and switched) from the cd player, and grab black.
hook it up to the battery under the hood temporarily for a few minutes combining the yellow and red wires to + and black to - and eject the cd.

A auto mechanics or starter/ignition shop may have the availability for aftermarket high output alternators. Basically they're pretty much all the same except for mounting method and pulley type.
Companies like Delco-Remy likely would have an HO alternator for your car. They have a 150 amp alt for my Omni, they should have one for your DSM.

Im gonna call around this week about the alt i guess.
xtremez24, that's the first thing i thought of after i realized i forgot my fav cd in there. i actually looked for that little hole to push in a paper clip and get out the cd. so sad.

Regarding you question about the remote turn on lead. Ya you can just run a wire from the + terminal on your battery to a toggle switch then to amp. I would suggest a small fuse, that wire doesn't carry much current. Anytime you connect something directly to the battery a fuse is a good idea.
