it took me and 2 other guys one hole class day to install a muffler. i have a new found hate for mufflers. and my dads choice of a muffler. he chose one that was a bugger to put on and is so quite, it makes the truck sound wussy. i guess i dont got an entry for to spring fling muffler contest.

That's the whole point of a MUFFLER. To make things quieter not louder.

lol, there is only about 5 bolts holding it on. unless its welded to the exhaust..!!

question for ya johnson. I was at visions and got side tracked on a conversation with 1 of the sales people there. He says that it is illegal to make the exhaust on any vehicle bigger than it was when it was stock. I thought he was talking BS, but maybe you can clarify for me (since you work at a muffler shop).

i have never came across that, but i have heard about the MOE (ministry of the enviroment) handing out tickets for not having the right ammount of catalytic converters (eg 5.0 ltr mustangs come with 4 cats from the factory, going with 2 high flow units could get you fined)... i think its more or less up to the mood of the cop

any modifications to a factory exhaust must be tested at an aircare station to determine if it passes the necessary requirements.
