It will jump if the wiring is correct or not.
Read his post again. You have to be able to see the direction the speaker is moving for this to work. If you cannot tell clearly which way the speaker is moving (out/in) then this will be useless.
I don't recommend this idea though. For the time it takes you to take a door panel off you might as well just pull the speaker and see for yourself.

thanks guys!! [img]smile.gif[/img] I guess i will see how clearly I can see the speakers through the grill first... Only reason I dont want to pull the door panels off now is because of the cold weather... I ripped one off last night and snapped the plastic that holds one of the clips on, off... I was being carefull so im blaming it on the cold weather and the cheaply designed VW doors [img]tongue.gif[/img]

LOL, I use a 9v batt to test my speakers. It won't do any harm.
