sound deadening

I saw this blue stuff, used for foundations on houses, its a waterproof membrane that you paint on for below ground level coverage. It supposedly dries to a rubber like material. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen it or considered it for sound deadening, as its only $100 for 5 gallons.

nope...don't be cheap...buy the real stuff...for $100.00 or so, you can do your whole car......

ya its 84.99 US, canadian its $112.49 for a 50sq foot roll...

for 3 rolls of b-quiet (150sqft) it was 307.77CAD shipped to my store, I've used 2.5 rolls and the rear of the car is done as well as the doors, so it covered quite a bit....
