why wouldnt you suggest that one amp be enough? and those current figures are based on a burp and high distortion. 4 good g31 batterys would be enough for either amp.

because you could probably get the same results with the single amp instead of buying 2 and breaking the bank with a huge battery bank or 2 alternators , if he ran a single amp , single alt with 4 good batterys for daily it would be alot cheaper in the long run . but if he has a huge bankrole then he can buy as much stuff as he wants

Yo bun dat, get Boss audio, ah real ting dat.

Nah don't do that. I'd say get Soundigital, but I'm biased. I'm sure what these two guys are saying. Bart is an SQ champ and Luke gave some good suggestions on how to set up a decent electrical system.

First question though is probably what is your goal? After that, what vehicle?

Shot in the dark, but I'll guess you're Trini and like me want a system that can sound sick when you're limin in a parking lot but still be loud on the meter, so I'd assume its a daily thing with the occasional burp here and there.

Yeah but its been tough the past few months. Harsh frosts are killing the harvest. I'm thinking of moving operations to Richmond Hill, or maybe just Thornhill.

1400a on 16 volts for the xxx15k

thats 1000a on 12 volts for the SD12k. The SD will draw a lot more when on 16 volts

If you must know details I already have 4 soundstream ref4 920, 1 soundstream ref4 720, 1 soundstream ref4 400 and I think i'm going to go for the 2 soundstream xxx 15000d amp with the four soundstream xxx 18inch subs. I already have
4 sets of SST-05 - Soundstream 1" Titanium Bullet Tweeters,
8 SST-804N - Soundstream 8" Single 4 ohm Pro Series Neodymium Mid-Bass Driver
4 sets of RF-60C - Soundstream 6.5" 2 Way 360 Watt Component Speaker System
4 SST-654N - Soundstream 6-1/2" Pro Series Mid-Range Car Speaker

The vehicle I'm thinking about is the yukon or the tahoe. I think i'm going for the tahoe because you can fit 6 alternators in them. Oh for the big amps i'm going to run the right power 16v for sure with kinetik batteries
