speaker classes
#2
Speakers do not have classes that are universal across the industry. Every company has a different way of producing models of speakers that mean something to them. In some cases it is the year of manufacture, in some cases it may be the difference between the low end, mid and high end lines from one manufacturer.

Yikes... not a fun car if you want to do it on a limited budget. From memory your front speakers are in the dash and are a 3.5" and the rear deck speakers may be a 4x10". Have a look in the car for where and what size the speakers are. Then come up with what the goals are for the new system, as in good sound, really loud, build it up over time, budget etc.

My goal is really loud, quality of sound and i'm not a big bass fan, i like bass but i dont want a system that rattles the windows out of the car, budget is $3000 and is available now.
I was thinking of installing some 5" components in the front kick panels with an amp for them, getting a set of 3.5 for the dash, and for the back i was thinking maybe some 8" mids with some tweeters, now this is just my thought and remember i am new to this.
I think i am going to get a Pioneer HUHVIC-N3
