i am looking for a term lab.
the US rep for http://www.spllabusa.com/
is trying to sell me on their meter..
any one have any pros or cons of this meter or ever seen one?

I have the USB meter since over a year now , I think it is a great alternative to the term lab for testing , It doesnt do bass race like the termlab ,but has a nice rta option.

Depends what you wanna do with it . If you want it for more than testing and see what # u is hitting then it is not what you want .

the program has a thing called "bassride" which i am told is the same as "bassrace"?

Do any of the sanctioning body's approve it's use? If not it will always be questioned. I agree with the above - if you want to use it for anything other than personal testing, buy a TL.
