stereo on an atv?
stereo on an atv?
I have a 12 Honda Rincon atv and I have a aluminum box on the front rack that is 36 inches wide /10 inches high and 10 inches wide.im mounting a cd player on the far left of it and want to add 2 6x9s in it and then im going to add 2 6x9s in the rear box.im gonna use a alpine amp that runs 100 watts rms to power all four speakers.kenwood 4 way speakers.should that sound good or is there any other options that could be better.
IMO, I would scrap the CD player & go for a HU that streams BT music from the phones, Really if it were me I would focus on a good system in my helmet that can answer the phone as well....unless it's for show, then have at it!
I've done a lot of riding in the past & I can't imagine blasting music from my ATV while riding through the woods. The people I rode with likely wouldn't care for it either...

What Head unit are you going to put on it? There are some decent ones that are cheap and already have amps built into them. I put a pioneer head unit in my car it had 200 watt amp in it 50 watt per channel and my speakers got like 3 times louder you might not even need an amp just for speakers they should be loud enough if you do it right.
everyone around here has stereos on atvs..im the only one that hasn't..im gonna use a pioneer deck from walmart..its about an 100 bucks.im gonna use the amp because I want a loud kick *** system..i had 3 grand in a Kawasaki teryx side by side stereo once.
it had 4 6.5 alpine type r speakers with a 10 inch subwoofer..run with a alpine 5 channel amp..it was killer.
