waht are you goin to be using it for ?
i have an older (`98) suzuki 300 awesome bike. a buddy og mine has an older (`97) 300 polaris (automatic) its a quick bike but on the trails he gets stuck wayyy to easy (not really a true 4 wheel drive), the suzuki has better 4x4 drive capibilitys. it has full 4 wheel lock up, 4 hi/lo and 2 wheel drive
thing i have found with the "bigger" bikes is they dont fit between alot of trees

yeah 8500 is new (list is 10,500 I believe)
I plan to use it as a work machine, haul wood, trail riding, mudding ect....
I was all set on an suzuki eiger 400 (my dad's friend has always loved his king quad 300) but then I saw this 700 and it seems pretty sweet it has hi & low range also (rated to tow 1500lbs)
few things I learned from reasearch this morning .....the suzuki 300 kingquad is the only suzuki with a front diff lock the rest have limited slip front ends and the polaris is now tru 4wd with lockers front and rear and it has a 2wd mode
I'm also thinking the 700 may be way more than I need ..... but it's so cool( it'll lift the front wheels when you crack the throttle & it goes 80mph)
I've also been looking at the polaris ATP 500, Artic cat TBX 500 and bombardier traxter XL 500 (the ones with boxes on the rear)
I don't know ........I'll have to do some more looking when I go out ......... maybe I should just stick with my 87 yamaha trimoto 200e trike

i've driven a grissley 660 and it'll pull a wheelie but thats a big quad. i loved the banshee when i drove it, i'd love to pic up a raptor this year. they just have so much power it amazing. a few friends of mine have polaris' and they have had nothing but problems. they were magums and sportsmans seemed like they were always in for repairs.

my quad is a yamaha blaster, ya its a little small and very tempermental but its fun to boot around in. 4 stroke is the way to go nowadays though. i've always been impressed with the yamaha products. i might pick up a warrior or something a nice reliable 4 stroke to putter around with and have reverse.
