Strapping Amps????

yes, dukk is right. In a stapped amp system, theoretically one amp runs the negative wave, the other runs the positive wave.(one pushes one pulls)

Now ANY mono block design is able to be stapped to the other, providing the amps have the same matched output. Also phase is very important. LOL [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I would like to know how "ANY" mono block amp is strappable like slow n low says???
I have never heard of anyone strapping 2 mono amps that have not been designed to do so, can you maybe fill me in.
I am interested in trying this if it is possible.

It is easy. As said before that in theory one amp produces the neg part of a wave and the other, pos. All you need to do is match the output of each amp and use some sort of bridging modual. I think Richard Clark makes one. Try doing a search on www.carsound.com. This topic was DEEPLY explored about 6 months back. GOOD READ!

^ yes like truck said,, except bridging modules are not nessesary. Some amlifiers do not offer phase adjustment though, which is required to strap
