i broke my TF12's in using a 2.0per chamber sealed box.
i was very impressed with the sound quality and stability.

Tintin, before you wasting astronomical amounts of money on a T2 or W7 go with the TF1. They've been proven to be a louder stronger sub and costwise, cheaper than the other 2. The sub is great for sq or spl. With the right enclosure your sq system will sound wicked. As far as spl goes...you need not worry about not being loud with these babies.

Go with TF1.....those other subs will let you down. TF1s will take a beating and still sound good.

So I hear if a box is ported below the woofers f/s, it'll screw with it, true/false? You can't port a box at 30 with a TF12? You call 40+hz tuning SQ? Probably doesn't get low! What I want to see are #'s and stuff for 20, 30, 35hz, maybe I'll buy two after.

13W7 sealed - gives a flatter full responce. The cone area of the 15T2 is 116 sq in with an Xmax of .75". The 13W7 has 107.35 sq in of cone area and an Xmax of 1.25. Both with about the same power handling.
