yes that would work well. infact that is preffered to glued peices of wood.

Good stuff....I still have all my foam from my last sub box.....but I built that so long ago and wanted some advice before I started a new box.

I think the 1/2 and 1/4 wave would still be too long inside such a small box. Box ridgidity is the most important thing for subwoofer boxes. I remember 10 years ago the golden ratio "needed" to be used to design a box. nowadays people don't even mention it. You also saw alot of people trying very extreme angles and such. Nowadays you don't see it, because people realize it's not going to affect subwoofers.
