also, I bought a cheap little cross over from princess, it was 14.99 and ran off of 12 volt. so I put it inbetween my CD/computer and the little sony amp, ran it off a ATX power supply. worked great. but like I said, the amp DID get hot. I use this as my winter system in my room. its not the greatest system in the world, but it works and it was damn cheap.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
I still have mine running an IDmax 12 & I paid a little over $200 shipped, and it shipped FAST. I think it was here in just two days after ordering or something crazy like that. It's been a solid lil' amp so far. This is not in my home theater though, I have something better pulling that duty.
iLL you could get this amp & throw that LMT proto of yours in to a LARGE sealed enclosure and be golden(use that 46+mm Xmax). I can't remember if I gave you the specs for that beast or not, if not lemme know. That is what I would recommend for that sub on a budget. You could always go with a MUCH larger amp. Hope that helped.

Yeah that would be the one. It was pretty loud in the huge box that was built for it. I spend hours just playing a 0-25hz sweep and listening to all of the doors down the hallway rattle, but not hearing anything audible from the sub.
