Well on the way home from Perfect Tones, I blew 3 fuses on my sub amp..
So I went to canadian tire to buy 3 new 25 amp fuses.
Hooked them on, turned on my deck, and blew 3 more fuses...

So, I went to a local car audio shop (# 1 Sound) They tested my zapco amp, and it was fried...
Dont ask me how this happened....

So to make a ,long story short, I ended up buying an audison LRX 400/1 mono amp..

This thing pushes 900x1 in 1 ohm load. Made in Italy... Now that I know my e8a can only go so far, before the cone bottoms out on teh spider, I am waiting to get my "BIG 8" next week.

So Rob how did your zapco fry exactly? Did the amp just fail?

I have no idea, I'm not 100% sure it is dead though..It just kept blowing fuses, and teh car audio shop, it wouldnt power up either, it kept turning their deck off...

It's closer... There is nothing wrong with the install, I went to Perfect tones to have them look at the sub.... plus I wanted to check out their shop.

I bought my DLS Components from them.
