your amp maybe overheating if it's in a tight spot. Also check your ground. Is it on bare metal? Did you sand the paint off? Also you should be using minimum of 4gauge wire. If not that could be your issue I've seen it before

Also, check voltage on your power and your rem, loose wiring etc...

Its not on long enough to even heat up, Its mounted on the back of my seat, The only ground in a trunk in a G6 that i could find was under the rear seat the bolt that hold in the metal seat belt bracket. No i didnt sand off the paint looked like it was all metal any ways, i could try, and yes i am using 4 gauge power wire and ground.

will check and get back to you, i was also think it was a lose wire but it made no sense that it would shut off after a few mins and after about 10 or 15 would kick back on, Tonight on my way home i had the gain on the remote on about 3/4 and it didnt shut off its weird, i have bass bost on radio off, have the bass turned all the way down on the radio, and only pushing 5db out of 15 subwoofer power on the radio as well

Thanks for the help guys ill check on this and get back to you

When it's all turned down it's not drawing nearly as much. That would explain why it didn't shut off. againt once it starts drawing alot(when you turn it up) the input voltage might be dropping too low or your ground isn't strong enough. Get a multimeter on it and see what's going on voltage wise
