Subwoofer Repair in Alberta.
I sold my old Beyond Audio Inhuman subwoofer to a guy in Red Deer, and he says that a coil screwed up, sounds good at low volume, and cruddy louder, and a terminal wire got ripped off apparently....hes thinking it needs a new coil.
Is there anywhere in Alberta that could fix this for a decent price? I know its a sub no longer in production so it could be tough...I dont know how he broke it, I beat the crap out of that thing for the few hours I ran it, I couldnt get it to break.
lemme know, thnx.

It just quit on me one day. Still has full cone travel with no scraping, sent it to Directed for warranty & they opened it, said yup it's fried, and slapped it back together and shipped it back, giving me a new one at 50% off. Now, it sits on a bench at my shop waiting, the cone doesn't travel at all anymore, since Directed just slapped it back together.
So I'd like this one redone... If you can, will it have comparable specs or be a little bit "not as good"?

Thank you.
I will do, he wants to wait until I see it before he brings it there for some reason....?
I am going up to Red Der October 15 for a swap meet and ill take a look at it then...I can see it being a terminal wire that needs to be soldered and thats it....that would be nice....
