I am going to buy 1 10" sub for my ext. cab truck tomorrow. It is going into a sealed enclosure and all the subs are ok for it. I just some input from people to tell me which sub is better.

What amplifier is this subwoofer going to be powered by ?

The SWR-1041D, RFD2210, TS-W1500SPL, 81044A can be wired to a 2 ohm or 8 ohm load and the TS-W1041C can be wired to a 4 ohm load.

 

What type of amp are you going to use to power this sub?

Powered by MTX 6500D 500W RMS.

 

Pioneer's sound good in a sealed box, i know the type r's and the hx2 do much better in a ported box. Go for the Pioneer Premier TS-W1041C, and be careful, that's alot of power for this sub.

 

The TS-W1041C is a single 4 ohm driver, meaning it would only get like 350-400 RMS from that amplifier.

I'd go with the Type-R in a 0.5 ft^3 sealed enclosure.

 

I just got a 10" RF 2210 Punch HX2 from Future Shop for $249.99. And 1.cu. ported box from FS also.

Does anobody have this sub? if so, is it in sealed, ported, etc. And how does it sound.
