Suggestions for battery with dual terminals
#2
I just replaced my Exide MegaCell with an Optima Yellow Top in my truck on Monday. I killed my Exide bad...really bad... by leaving the key on in my truck for a few days in the garage. It wouldn't even turn the starter over after 18 hours on a battery charger.
The Yellow Top has dual terminals. I bought mine at Costco for $189. Mopac wanted $209 and Perf. Parts Plus wanted $221. I got the 750 CCA model (bigger one).

Thanks for all the responses guys.
MegaHurtz, yeah I've been on here for awhile, until just recently my username was "bryan" but I changed it to be consistent with the other forums I'm on. Thanks for the offer, check your PM.
I realized after my first post that I may be limited by the size of my battery tray. The OEM battery is only 9" wide by 6.5" deep by 8" tall, with less than half an inch to spare on all sides. Are Exides or Optimas available this small?

Exide
I wouldn't do the blue top optima simply cause it is a deep cycle and it take forever to recharge it, the battery does not respond quick which puts a longer strain on your alternator and takes longer to charge.................
Not to mention being a deep cycle if you don't let it discharge to at least 20% occasionaly it won't properly do a full charge, it will develop a memory problem..............same as old school cell phone batteries did..................
