Suggestions for new audio setup???!!!!!!
hELLO I AM NEW TO THIS SITE. i CURRENTLY OWN A 2001 VOLKSWAGEN jETTA. i HAVE HAD A SYSTEM IN MY CAR SINCE DAY 1. i SARTED SLOW BUILDING MY WAY UP SLOWLY. About 2 years ago i decided to do an overhaul and i gutted out my whole system and started from scratch. I ended up with a pioneer deck a kicker 10" L7 solobaric and morel speakers run by 2 arc audio amps. As the years have passed i have gotten extrmely bored with the system and thats due to the fact that i crave extreme bass. I have come to the decision that i will be gutting out the system for the last time. My thought is that i want a 7.5" screen in the front possibly and two rear morel speakers and what i am extremely lost on is what screen to get, as well as hat is a hard hitting sub thats worth the money, as well as an amp to power it. If anyone knows of any great audio places to buy from in the toronto Ontario area that would be great as well. S o for now im willing to take any suggestions as to which deck i should get, amp as well as sub. Thanks in advance

As for a screen, it all depends on what ur looking for, some thing scrappy or crisp. If you like the looks of the alpine screens then go for it but personally, i hate alpine screens.
As of right now im going with the
Kenwood KVT-617DVD In-dash DVD player with 7" video screen at Crutchfield.com
although thats only the 7" screen. Not 7.5.

Largest screen available that will fit indash is a 7". Eclipse makes stellar screen systems, dvd and navigation based. Digital Designs is going to satisfy your craving for copious amounts of bass response and are a sub that is engineered and built in the US. Solid highly predictable outcome for the guy wanting to get loud. I hope you have a good box builder as that is what it is going to take to bring any sub to life. Amplification is going to depend on the model of sub(s) that you choose. I am summising that the tonal response of the Morel speakers are satisfactory for you at this time, save for perhaps you need new rear speakers. What model of Morels are in the vehicle for the front and what are the rear speakers? Lots of things to discuss. Add me to msn if you like as it is way easier to talk there than back and forth on the forum. (address is in my sig line).

There are many dealers on here that can satisfy your bass needs. RD is holding many records in IASCA right now and offers a full range of subs from mild to thousands of watts as well. They are built in the USA too.

you're new so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, you ask for help and/or advice, some was given, then you go to the local stealer errr I mean dealer and come back here without so much as a thank you or any acknowledgment whatsoever for the advice already given and you want more advice?
not cool and if you wonder why you don't get many or any helpful responses in the future, you can refer back to this thread.
