6.5 inch speakers would be better than the 5/1/4, but unless you find some with really shallow mounting depths they arent going to fit without the magnet hitting the window, the 51/4s barely fit, ive tried

There's plenty of excellent choices for 6.5's that will fit in the door. I've tried also

i would have to say, dont buy the 12" rockford fosgate t2, i have one, it works great.. but i think i could have spent the $300 a little better...

This is a good thread and if you need help putting a system together pm i have some ideas for you. P.s DDnut if you paid $2000 for you custom sub my friend you must be a noob. That sub is not even worth the $400 you are trying to sell it for.
