YEa, the dynamat will just help with the exhaust noise.. if that.. old cars with sound systems are hard, the exhaust can really distract from the music.

Don't use the Dynamat brand then... there are a lot of other good solutions for sound deadener out there. (I'm personally a fan of B-Quiet Ultimate)

i took care of that problem when i installed my new carpet i put two layers of 3/4inch underlay and pressed it all down.. nicee and quiet well for now till i get my dual glasspacks and headers on.. but it won't be bad seriously i did a really good job of insulating the interior even when i was having some problems with having my exhaust on hahahaha it wasn't loud so i was runnin straight y pipe for a while.. so the only thing i need sound deadener in is in my trunk.. but so far i've done a lot of good work gettin rattles down.. it alreayd has less then you'd think from what i've done so i just gotta keep plunkin away at it till its all nice..! i just really need a new trunk seel
