1. there are two sides to every story, with the mud slinging both sides look dirty and I am sure if things had gone differently they would still be best buddies

2. Snoop is loud

3. I am still under the impression Adassa has good products (though I have never seen or heard any of it) from what others have said...

4. Why this is on Canadian Car Audio is a COMPLETE mystery, I mean this has absolutely nothing to do with this forum. Well you are over due for drama I guess, enjoy

Sure is a lot of douchebaggery in that thread. Classic defenses - pointing out spelling errors, and my dad can beat up your dad-type arguments. I was sorta surprised to see the Americans attack on the grammar front though.

I like the "we'll go to war and crush you guys" threat, when in reality, not one of those ****ing keyboard warriors would even have anything to do with it since they'd be just sitting at home cheering on meca and watching for apostrophes.

Yeah not too many in Canada (I think there was 1 once), so this is just talk

The MECA system has been lots of small shows, catering to the local retailer, so there is always a big dog but the size of the dog is relative. We have held our rules for 2 years (which is a response to using the headrest as the sensor position) to get away from the way we were changing our rules annually.

There are a lot of VERY loud db draggers, there are quite a few loud IASCA, MECA, USACi, and NSPL so generally you will see a lot of the same names in each organization. The sensor being at the head rest peels off a few db for most and our rules try to make it so the smaller systems compete against similar street-able systems. I agree db drag rules the big numbers game and has for a while, but fresh blood is needed in all organizations.

Bare bones?? the MECA home page www.mecacaraudio.com is reasonably featured with forums, event listing and scores for the last several years, show images etc. I am not trying to 'sell MECA" especially since we cant have shows in Canada (no event directors). We tend to focus a little more on having a good time at shows than other orgs.

John, its not that we dont like MECA or anything, but you know what they say, people are scared of something they dont understand
