i have 1000watts rms at 1 ohm amp right now. i was thinking of getting just 1 10" TFone in a ported box for daily SQL. how big should be the box and what tuning? and should i put a bigger amp on it later on?? money is tight so right now i can only get 1 sub then later an amp and then blah blah blah more stuff.

BTW what can they handle daily?? and just for the fun of it would 1 10" TFone be louder than the 10" Type X and the 9510MTX ?? lol all with same power?

i don't think you'll have any concerns with how loud the TFone is.
1000rms @1ohm will be a good start for daily use.

 

im allready use to 2 12" at that power. i want to use less space in the trunk and have about the same volume of bass i use to have. my other box was painful to listen too and i still whant it that loud or louder lol. its just space is an issue right now cause i need my trunk back for a stroller and other baby stuff lol

well i dont know how loud its gonn abe but its gonna be twice the power. approx. ill be getting the DD M2 amp to run it. should be good tho

 

1000 watts into one is good. but 4000 watts into a pair would be even better. lol.

 

Are TF1's based on the audioque HDC3.
they look quite similar
