Thoughts on my system so far

hey tehre im just slowly gathering thesystem i will be buying next april....i should be buying my deck and ipod interface tomorrow from MR2NR..he has been helping me out with the complicated world of car audio (Thanks :P ) anyways he has been recommending products to me i would just like more opinions
so far this is it
Deck: Eclipse CD3000 and IPC106 ipod interface
Subigital Designs DD2512 (i was battling over 2 10" or 1 12" looks as though one 12 wins so far)
Speakers: (2 or 4??) have yet to decide
Amp: (one or 2two) have yet to decide
Sub box: pre made or custom made and from whom
Installation will probably be local, but i am still deciding if i should put the speakers in the doors or mount them somewhere else.....
keep in mind i am looking for sound quality with some loudness for those days that i feel like balsting my music..i listen to heavy metal with some rock (hence alot of bass drum rolling , guitar solos..some bass guitar heavy stuff as
well)

opinions wanted

Sounds like you're leaning towards a good system so far !..

Your going to want your system to be as clear as possible to hear that guitar nice and crisp, and the bass nice and tight !.. Sounds like your getting there. I'm going to have to give MR2NR a shout, I need some car techie advice too

get a good set of component for the front and dont put anything in the back except your sub. With the money you ll save you will be able to buy a little 2 channel amp to power yours components
This is my vision of the thing, keep going

component speakers are speakers that also come with a pair of crossover and tweeters..(crossovers eliminate certain frequencies)

2-channel amp is an amplifier that will increase the strength of the audio signal that goes through it and makes it sound louder and better...the fact that it is 2 channel means its built to power TWO speakers...
