Do most three way component sets (6.5",4", tweeter) have the crossover set up for the 4" to do say 4000hz and down, the 6.5" to do 80hz-300hz, and the tweeter strictly highpass, say 4K and up? Just wondering....

Pretty well, the only thing I can add is usually there is no highpass (80hz+) on the woofer...

typical is 250hz lowpass on the midbass, 250-3000hz banpass on the midrange and 3000hz highpass on the tweeter, frequencies will depend on manufacture of course.

Wow you guys are quick!! Thanks for the help. So the 4" would be banpassed, the midbass would be lowpassed, cool.
