I've been looking foward to this day, but I finally have the time and funds to build my new system.

I've been looking at new subwoofers..I want 2 at around 450-500rms each in a sealed box. I want quality, not huge SPL. The guy in town offered me 2 JBL p122's for 500$. Good deal? Are their better out there for the price?

I'm also gonna need an amp that puts out around 1000rms I suppose. Brands?

Last, front components. What do you guys think about JBL components compared to rockford fosgate power components?

R they new or used? if they are new its a pretty good deal if you can get both of them in a sealed box like you want it would be a great deal. As for amps you have many options, think of what brands you want first and gfo from there. As for components i think jbl are second to none when compared to rockfords.
