I currently have a Rockford 1501bd which I'm thinking of getting rid of and getting another bigger amp.

Power is going to a 12" MTX 9500 (apparently "unblowable", so it's time to put more power to it)

I just noticed MTX came out with a new amp

--------- OPTION 1 ---------
http://mtxaudio.com/caraudio/product...under92001.cfm

4Ω 1000
2Ω 2000
1Ω 3000

4Ω (Two Amps Strapped) 4000
2Ω (Two Amps Strapped) 6000

In the future if i buy another one of these it would give me 6000 @ 2Ω strapped.

--------- OPTION 2 ---------
http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...r%20Amplifiers

1000 W x 1 @ 4 Ohms RMS
2000 W x 1 @ 2 Ohms RMS
3000 W x 1 @ 1 Ohms RMS

Same as MTX, strapable to make one huge amp if i buy another one in the future.

Anybody have any other suggestions?

Thanks

MTX man, given the choice. Or A Kicker ZR series, if you want to save money, and buy used.

MMATS, has some amazing amps, like 4kw and so on. If funds aren't an issue, I'd go with MMATs anyday, or Zapco, or ARC audio (low power though) or Auddison. But thats just me, I like the good stuff.

Buy another 1501BD and strap them together......3500 watts RMS approx.

Probably one of your lowest priced options.

if i buy a second 1501bd i'm in street b with 3k watts rms (i know it's already a lot but isn't it better to be street a with 3k watts or street b with 6k watts?)
