Time over Continuous

Just a question about power supply and speaker life. 700w to my subs that are rated 500w RMS 1000peak??? Damage??? Alright as long as i dont play them continuously for xxxxx.xx hrs??? Any Ideas. This will effect what amp I am going to be using.

2 x Punch Hx2s 4ohm DVC

Well I played with a 15" HX2 once and it seemed pretty solid.. 500 watts is a musical rating though.... And I would be cautious giving one 700 watts for more then 2-3 hours at a time...

My buddy josh has blown all sorts of subs using less then rated power on 8-10hr road trips when he was working away from home... lol At least one amp also..

Id just laugh as I take his money for my recone service..
