Tired of Hearing the Solo X's as the Loudest Sub on the Planet.

Im so tired of people or people who are new to car audio telling me that the Solo X is the loudest and no sub can out perform it . I know myself that im not a Expert or anything like Father Yuli or anything but i still know a thing or two about car audio lol.

I had this person come in yesterday who wanted to buy my old system. He wanted a Solo X 12". I told him to go for DD Z Series or a Pair of Fi Btl's , but he was claiming that the Solo X is the loudest sub on the planet which really pissed me off.

I told him that he would be better off with a DD Z Series or a Fi Btl , even though i dont own the place i was still giving him advice but he just went and bought a Solo X 12" for 1800$. He probably had some money to spend or waste on something like that. I have experience with kicker subs and believe that Subwoofers should be round not square. Kicker's were famous for about a year or two and now in US n Canada everyone pretty much has those , im not sure about Canada but down in States its Kicker Land lol.

Any Opinions will be Appreciated.

Thanks !

There is no "loudest" sub on the planet. Not even the DDZ or Fi BTL.

Put either the DDZ or the BTL is a shitty box and a regular Kicker L7 can be louder. (let alone the SoloX)

Arguing against people who think otherwise is virtually pointless.

in the hands of a dumb ***, like the individual you are talking about, any and all subs will perform the same.

$1800 for a 12"... so buy a good woofer, put it in the right box, power it with a competent amp and challenge him to go to a competition and spank his azz in the lanes with a system that costs as much as his woofer. School is free everything else is expensive

Personally I dont think you should care whether people listen to you or not let time prove you right (or wrong it is a good sub)

The best sub is the one that makes you happy with the price you paid

LOL you should NEVER need to hack up a vehicle for gear.... you make it work, or find other gear.... especially not pioneer
