Wow, some of you guys are really high strung. I kind of been noticing that for the short time I've been on this board. I've been a Canucks fan since the Orland Kurtnebach <sp?> days (pre NHL - WHL days). Never missed listening to them on NW, or watching them on the tube. I like watching amateur hockey - local teams. It was just a comment about people's tastes. Not that I give a rat's derrier about what people think...... waaay too old for chest beating. No point in trying to impress people, either. Was there a point to be made?

Maybe I need to space out my sentences, so people can read between the lines.

My boyfriend? I have nothing against gay people. If you think I'm gay. Fine. It doesn't bother me. My three kids and my wife would laugh at that one. Dad, you're so gay. Hmmmmm...... maybe I am? I try not to look too hard at Brtitney Spears posters. How old is that chick, anyway? Where were girls like that when I was in high school back in the mid 70's?

I really like this board...... it's a place full of humour and a lot of people here really do like to share their expertise, creativity, experiences, what have you.

Did I step over the line with the hockey comment? I don't think so. A woman, who obviously doesn't watch or like hockey, made that "grown men chasing a puck" comment to me once, so I decided to use that as an example. BTW, hockey doesn't belong to Canada - Lacrosse (now there's a man's game) is Canadian for sure.

Maybe my semse of humour is too weird for most. Maybe this medium of dialog brings out certain type of....... who knows?
